Privacy Policy

TECT respects the privacy of users on its website and publishes its policy regarding the protection of privacy on the site. TECT undertakes towards its users to comply with this policy.

The purpose of this policy is to explain how TECT treats the privacy of users on the website, and how TECT uses information provided by users of the site or information that may be collected during use of the site.

General

When using an internet website, information about users is collected. Some of this information enables the site to identify the user personally. This is information the user knowingly provides, for example, when registering for services on the site.

Other information does not personally identify the user and is not stored together with their personal details. This is statistical and aggregated information. For example: advertisements viewed on the site, pages accessed, offers and services of interest to the user.

In addition, we may collect online identifiers relating to your use of the site – such as IP address, cookie identifiers, device identifiers, browser, and operating system. This information is used for information security, proper site operation, statistical analysis, and service improvement.

Database

The various data collected will be stored in TECT’s database and under its responsibility.

Registration for Services

When you are required to provide personal information while browsing the site, TECT will ask only for the information necessary to provide the best possible service.

Use of Information

The use of collected information will be made only in accordance with this privacy policy or as required by law, and solely for the following purposes:

  • To improve and enhance the user experience and services on the site.
  • To tailor the advertisements displayed during visits to your fields of interest.
  • To modify or cancel existing services and content.

The information used by TECT will mainly be statistical information, which does not personally identify you.

Direct Electronic Mailing

TECT may wish to occasionally send you information about its services (newsletter), as well as marketing and promotional material, by email. Such information will only be sent to you if you have given explicit consent, and you may revoke your consent at any time and stop receiving such messages.

TECT will not share your personal details with advertisers. However, it may transfer statistical information regarding user activity on the site. Statistical information provided will not personally identify you.

Transfer of Information to Third Parties

TECT will not transfer your personal information or information collected about your activity on the site to third parties, except in the following cases:

  • If you perform actions on the site that are against the law.
  • In the event of a legal dispute between you and TECT that requires disclosure of your details.
  • If a judicial order is received requiring disclosure of your details or information about you to a third party.
  • If TECT sells or otherwise transfers its website operations to another corporation – or in case of a merger with another entity – provided that such corporation undertakes to comply with this privacy policy.

Remarketing Policy in Online Advertising

  • Third-party service providers, including Google, display our ads on websites across the internet.
  • Third-party service providers, including Google, use cookies to display ads based on your past visits to our site.
  • You may opt out of the use of third-party cookies at any time by visiting this site:

Cookies

TECT uses “cookies” for the proper and ongoing operation of the site, including to collect statistical data on site usage, to verify details, to adapt the site to your personal preferences, and for information security purposes.

Modern browsers allow you to avoid receiving cookies. If you do not know how to do this, check your browser’s help file.

Loading of non-essential cookies (such as statistical or marketing cookies) will occur only after receiving explicit consent from the user. Users may change or revoke their consent at any time via the site’s cookie management interface or through their browser settings.

Third-Party Advertisements

TECT allows other companies to manage the advertising system on the site. The ads you see while visiting the site come from the servers of those companies.

In order to manage their advertisements, these companies place cookies on your computer. These cookies enable them to collect information about the websites you have viewed their ads on and which ads you clicked on. The use of cookies by these companies is subject to their own privacy policies, not TECT’s privacy policy.

Information Security

TECT implements up-to-date systems and procedures for information security on its site. Although these systems and procedures reduce the risk of unauthorized intrusion, they do not provide absolute security. Therefore, TECT does not guarantee that its databases will be completely immune from unauthorized access.

Retention and Storage Period

We will retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide the services or as required by law. At the end of this period, the information will be deleted or anonymized.

Your Rights

In addition to your rights to access and correct information, you are entitled to:

  • Revoke your consent to the processing of personal information at any time.
  • Object to the use of your information for direct marketing purposes.
  • Request a copy of personal information stored about you in TECT’s databases.

To exercise your rights, you may contact us by email at: office@tect.co.il.

Right to Review Information

Under the Privacy Protection Law, 1981, every individual has the right to review information held about them in a database. If, after reviewing, you find that the information is incorrect, incomplete, unclear, or not up to date, you may contact the database owner with a request to correct or delete the information.

Additionally, if the information in TECT’s databases is used for personal contact with you, you may demand in writing, under the law, that the information relating to you be deleted from the database.

Changes to the Privacy Policy

Any material changes to this privacy policy concerning the use of personal information you provided will be posted on the site’s homepage.

This policy has been updated to comply with Amendment 13 to the Privacy Protection Law and will take effect as of August 14, 2025.
