“G-Line” lightning and surge protector is a lightning and surge arrester according to EN 61643-11:2012 (IEC 61643-11:2011). It consists of dual high-energy varistors for better discharge capability and a gas discharge tube connected in series, ensuring zero leakage current through the conductor.
Its parameters allow the use of buildings with considerable protection levels of LPL I and LPL II, such as hospitals, banks, industrial and administrative complexes, schools, shopping and sports centers or supermarkets.
A type 1+2 lightning and surge protector is installed on the interface of LPZ 0 – LPZ 1 and above zones according to the EN 62305:2011 (IEC 62305:2010) standard, closest to the place where an overhead line enters the building, that is, in the main distribution boards. S indicator indicates version with remote monitoring.
